Job Description: Bartenders provide top-notch customer service while maintaining control of the bar, making drinks for bar and restaurant patrons, and handling financial transactions. You must have extensive knowledge of liquor mixed drinks, wine and our craft beer and spirits. Thinking quickly, awareness of surroundings and monitoring patrons for signs that they have had too much alcohol are also required skills

Company Overview: We are a laid back, casual, but fast paced restaurant and bar. Associated with our big brother, O.H.S.O. Brewery and Distillery, we have an inside/outside bar with many craft beers on tap and available in cans and bottles. At Little O’s, you will find a dog friendly patio, an array of O.H.S.O. inspired menu items available in house or to-go and a friendly staff, ready to serve. This funky neighborhood hangout is sure to bring people together with good food, good beer and, of course, dogs!

Responsibilities:

Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials.
Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers.
Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.

Qualifications:

Title 4 Liquor Certification
Food Handlers Certification
2 Years of Recent Bartending Experience
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be at least 19 years of age to serve alcohol in the state of Arizona
Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
